Overview

Parlore aspired to create an e-commerce iOS app for interior designers to shop, create, and bring the inspiration to their client's space.

Research and Strategy

We interviewed 20 interior designers to understand what they look for; more importantly, what excites them while shopping for clients. From our findings, we discovered that lighting, colors, space, shades, sizes, and textures are something they explore overall. The majority of designers get inspirations from creating mood boards. Additionally, the physical experience of touching fabrics and observing lightings really give them a more realistic measures while maintaining artist intent.

There are too many e-commerce sites displaying information with similar arrangements. I feel less inspired shopping with such task-driven space.
